It's been in the air for weeks now, but the Toronto Independent Games Conference is moving to new dates, January 17 to 19, 2007. We are making this move in order to provide more opportunities for attendees, and to improve those opportunities we already provide.
With the move to the later dates, the pre-registration cutoff is also shifting -- and so are the prices! We've decided that the early bird prices will be the only ones for this year (and anyone who has paid the old standard prices shall be refunded the difference). The new date to get in your registration form is Friday December 14, 2007.
We are also changing the due date for presentation submissions. These are now due on Friday November 30, 2007. We are still looking for speakers, workshop facilitators, and anyone else who is interested in presenting at the conference on game design and development.
Last but not least -- are you interested in being a part of the conference team? We are looking for staff and volunteers, both for the upcoming conference and for those in the future. By joining the team you get a better idea of how the conference is put together, and you'll gain more opportunities to meet and hang out with our presenters and other industry luminaries. If you're interested, contact us and let us know!
