Toronto Independent Games Conference 2007 Moves to January 2008

TORONTO -- Aug. 23, 2007 -- In order to improve the quality and increase opportunities for attendees, the Toronto Independent Games Conference 2007 will now be held from Thursday January 17 to Saturday January 19, 2008. The new dates will provide more opportunities for conference programming, as well as allow the organizers to plan for more networking events for attendees.

"We want to provide the best experience we can for attendees," says programming director Chris Charabaruk. "And the best way for doing this is to ensure that we have not just more discussion events, but to add workshops, networking events, and more."

With the move to the January dates, various due dates for the conference have been also pushed back. People wishing to present at the conference now have until Friday November 30, 2007 to submit their presentation proposal. As well, pre-registrations are open until Friday December 14, 2007, at the original early-bird prices!
