Having a baby is one of the giant leaps that a couple takes to consolidate their love and relationship; it has a profound effect on their relationship. It is the most important decision of the adult life.
When a baby comes into couples life, the attention of the female is totally diverted to the baby, this is a biological pre-requisite she forgets anything and everything when it comes to the care of the baby. As a male you are totally unaware of such a change in your wives behavior. This often leaves them surprised and frustrated and can lead him to drinking and even an affair if he is not careful. However after sometime he begins to remember his childhood days and how his mother used to take care of him.
After sometime the fathers become aware that they are participating in something that is very intimate and common and lays the foundation of life. He slowly starts becoming active as a parent and slowly opens to his wife and the child. He slowly starts dawning the role of a parent and becomes involved in his child care and well-being.

A healthy and uninterrupted sleep is very essential for your baby to maintain a healthy growth rate. These are the steps you can to ensure that he gets adequate sleep during the night.
- Never let your baby sleep for a long period during the day, this may keep him awake during the night.
- Play with your child during the day, get him to do activities and sports, this will tire him enough to get a healthy and an uninterrupted sleep during the night.
- Follow a consistent routine as to when, and how you put your baby to sleep. If you sing or read to your baby, always maintain that while putting him to sleep.
- When placing the baby to sleep, clear the sleeping area from all the toys and maintain a peaceful and calm environment.
- Calm voices, soothing lights and no instant movements will show to your child that it's time to sleep.

If you want to culminate your child's positive psychological skills get into the habit of sighting these skills early and rejoice over them, and showing enthusiasm. When we talk about showing enthusiasm we are not talking about praising, praising is when you evaluate your child's performance. In enthusiasm you just join your child in whatever he or she is doing with an approving tone. With an enthusiastic reaction, you don't divert your child's attention from whatever he or she is doing.
Another way to encourage them is to show your interest at the moment they are doing and replay them over and over again. You can any one in their presence of the things they were doing. You also at night talk to them about the good things they have that day. This show to them that you are showing interest in their skills and that will make them do it more.
